|
There has been a thriving Squash Section on this site for 30years. We currently have three courts two of which are glass-backed with a terraced viewing area, all of the courts have been refurbished to a top playing standard.

Joining the Squash Section |
It’s easy, just complete the application form and send it to the Club’s General Manager with your membership fee. Remember THERE IS NO JOINING FEE. Our season runs from October but if you join after 1st March the membership fee is reduced by 50%. Please do not worry if you don’t know anybody at the Club, if you speak to the Squash Secretary he will be pleased to find you a partner and introduce you to other members. Alternatively you can turn up to the Club Open Night held every Monday from 7.30 p.m., a round robin friendly with no need to book a court or find an opponent. Ladies, don’t forget you are as good as the men at this game and just as welcome at the Club.
|
| Booking Courts |
Courts are available in 45 minute periods from 9.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. To book a court you simply put a £5 booking stamp on the court sheet in the Squash area, stamps can also be purchased from behind the bar. You use the token to control the light meters for the courts.

| Playing in the Leagues |
We encourage players to take part in the leagues and Pyramid but it is not compulsory. The leagues are of varying standards and most people find that it is an excellent way of meeting new players. It’s up to you to make arrangements to sort out a game with your opponent, players are promoted (or relegated!) from their league every month so there are always plenty of opportunities to play people of differing standards.

Team Squash |
We have a number of teams including those in the Vets (over 45) and Vintage (over 55) and we are always looking for new volunteers. Here’s your chance to represent the Club and travel to exotic locations such as Watford and Crouch End

| Relax |
What better way to relax after a game or at other times than in our large Finnish log sauna, if you are a Squash member there is no charge for this facility. After that it’s off to the bar to replace some of that fluid, we have a range of lagers and cask conditioned beers, children are always welcome at the club. |
